Where are my notes stored?
On your phone. Slicknote works without an account or a connection. If you turn on sync in Settings, a copy is kept in your own iCloud Drive (iPhone) or Google Drive (Android) as well.
How do I move my notes to a new phone?
- On the old phone, open Settings › Backups & Export and choose Export Backup.
- Save the file somewhere the new phone can reach (Files, Drive, AirDrop, email to yourself).
- On the new phone, open Settings › Backups & Export › Import Backup and pick the file. An import never overwrites newer notes.
Smart Format changed my text
Smart Format only acts when you finish editing. Tap Undo on the message that appears to get your text back exactly as you typed it, or turn it off in Settings.
Slicknote Pro
Daily notes are free forever. Pro adds unlimited pages and presets, duplicating pages, themes, fonts and app icons. Plans are monthly or yearly, with a 7-day free trial on yearly.
- Manage or cancel: on iPhone, Settings › your name › Subscriptions; on Android, Google Play › Payments & subscriptions. Or Slicknote › Settings › Manage subscription.
- If Pro ends: nothing is deleted. Everything stays readable, copyable and exportable, and you choose 3 pages to keep editing.
- Restore: on the Pro screen, tap Restore.
Lock Slicknote
Settings › Lock Slicknote asks for Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode (fingerprint or PIN on Android) when the app opens.
